so on my flat top les paul build i want to do the regular 4 pots and leave 2 extra holes for a future project, what would be the best way to do this and it not look trashy and also protect the hole from chipping?

i want it to look like the hole was meant to be there (because it is). and no i do not have pictures of the project, im collecting all my materials first.

i plan to do a set of EMGs on it, and ill be using the two extra holes for a switch to turn off one of the nine volts (18 volt mod) and the last hole for another add on which im still trying to figure out how i want to do it.

any help is appreciated, you guys are awesome

Drill the holes as and when you need them in the future, as opposed to leaving them open

it'l look kinda silly and you may never choose to fill them.

but wont it be easy to damage the paint if i drill it afterwards?
Not if you stick some masking tape down mark the pot location, and use decent drill bits for the pilot hole and then enlargement hole, it should be fine.
