I play a lot of shred, and after a big run or two (maybe 20-30 secs) the tendons in my forearm seem to tense up, and become unco-operative. Now I've tried pretty hard to eliminate tension in my playing , and most of the time I have no problems, including at gigs. But this sounds like its caused by tense playing to me. any Ideas? and any idea how to fix it ?
You want to shred to fast. People these days pick up guitar and think they are shred maniacs. You need to train. Speed comes too those that' don't aim for it. At least for me.
