ok so my room is the room over the garage. and it pretty much adapts to the temperature outside. in the summer it would get really hot, but i got a window air conditioner so it was ok. now its winter and its freezing. i woke up this morning and it was 56 degrees (i have a thermometer on my clock).

what can i do to heat this place up

use a sleeping bag and get one of those toned-down versions of industrial shop heaters.

Get a Halogen heater. Apparantly they're the best at the moment.

This. makes life much better. If it still doesn't help, buy a heater. If that doesn't help, plug the heater in and turn it on. That will definatley help.

i agree with insulating. save the environment, your wallet, and keep your balls from freezing off. it's win win win.

a quick and cheap fix is lighting a bunch of candles, they create a lot of heat.

Call a general contractor, have him pull permits and then tell him to properly install insulation in the room. Chances are it's not done right because every room should be inside temp.

If you dont have a heater, this is more likely the problem...BUY A HEATER!

I woke up today nice a warm...(Electric blanket and in home heating).
Thing is it's going to suck going out to class soon since it randomly decided to drop down to 25F this morning...
