Can someone post a link to the major open chords for DADGAD tuning? Thanks. I tried to work them out myself, but they're really awkward to play.

for D major, you barre the 7th fret and put fingers on the 9th fret on the A string and B string (which you've tuned to become another A string)

then just slide this shape up and down the fretboard for the other chords

Theres a post with all the chord shapes in dropped D:

You'll have to move thirds and fifth on your lower A and D strings, or if there duplicates just leave them out.

Wierd tuning... what type of music are you playing? (metal maybe?)

a good thing about it is that you can play bass notes for songs and the high A and D can be used as double stops, esp for anything in D
