Hi,

I'm looking for a new amp this Christmas for about $350-450.

I'll be playing mostly Hardcore/Metal; TDWP, Emmure, Enter Shikari, A Skylit Drive, Lamb of God, All That Remains, etc.

I'll be gigging in small to medium sized venues.

What would you guys suggest?

Billie Joe is a really good guitarist, Green Day is like the best shred band around.

Yeah, I already have a Hellraiser! It's great.

I was looking at the Valveking's, but I wanted some more input from here.

I can get a good lamb of god tone with my valveking but a OD pedal is a must, Bad Monkey or Tubescreamer etc. A speaker swap is a great help too.

Those are all good amps guys, when you can't score an AOR and 2x12 cab...
I wondered why the frisbee was getting bigger, then it hit me.

I get a fairly tight crunchy tone IMO, but a 5150 would be godly for him.

5150 always = /thread

Where might I find a 5150 for that price?

Well any 5150 your gonna find is gonna be used, Craigslist, ebay, or the gear ad forum are your best bets IMO.

First of all, with a username involving Led Zeppelin, you are interested in some bands that don't make sense.

Second of all, that AOR is great. If that isn't an option then go with a used Line 6 Flextone or B-52 AT-112.

Someone can't like Led Zep and Lamb of God

I just wanted an amp more focused on a Lamb of God sound, because that will be the sort of music I'll be gigging with, and using this amp with.

I would get the AOR, but the poster took down the add.
