Hey UG. I've got another dilemma. This time (I know it's a bit early) about christmas. Basicly I've got a Jackson DK2M which is annoying the hell out of me, because I'm pretty sure it's intonation is screwed up, and I can't change tunings on it very easily. (but I love the floyd to death, beyond the So I've decided I might get a new guitar. Budget about $400. The main thing I'm looking for is upper fret access, and no trem. I'd prefer set or neck thru, but if it's a bolt on with good access, then I'll consider it. I mostly play metal-ish stuff (Not super heavy downtuned stuff and death metal though). Any help would be appreciated.
Also, I'm not willing to just block off the trem, because I use it too much to block it.
And also unfortunately, the closest big guitar center that carries a wide selection is about an hour and a half drive.

tl;dr.
Need new guitar, one that'll stay in tune and handle tuning changes, preferably set neck.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, I have a Vox Valvetronix AD15 for my amp
