Ok, I'm selling my Jackson RR3 in another thread if you want to check that out, and Im also selling my Les Paul copy.

This is a bit of an unusual one since I dont really know what it is - Tho I have pictures to show it's pretty. As for spec:

Les paul design, says Gibson on the headstock, LP Custom headstock inlay, bound front and back, neck, and headstock, grover kluson style (real les paul ones - i know this because i put them there) block inlays on rosewood neck, 22 frets, 2 pickups of unknown origin - sound great, usual stop and inton bar - 4 of the black tophat volume/ tone. the back is yellow, the front is a carved top birdseye maple (i think you'll have to look at the pics and see for yourself) and looks stunning. All gold hardware and straplocks

i must make clear though, this guitar is not a gibson, it is a copy - definately - it has the 3 little screws into the truss cavity, the neck angle is not as great (although this is better for stability i think) its also semi hollow - but still weighs quite a bit

Comes with gator case, nice padded leather strap with the strap lock fittings to match guitar on it.

this guitar is a serious enigma. I've never seen another LP like it

First - I didn't put it on the grass the previous owner did.

Second - Price, including strap and hard gator case is 450GBP + p&p

I know some people will think this is high for a copy, but by the same standards, ive never seen a real one with a top like this, and ive never played a gibson which was better. I feel they are around the same standard - although if you want to try it out you are more than welcome too.

I forgot to mention the guitar has been fully rewired about a month ago

Hey man, think what you've got there is one of these: http://www.samin.cn/Show.aspx?PID=1171 , obviously with a different top.

Been tempted to try one for a while, but not sure if I trust some Chinese counterfeiter with my money for the 6 weeks they take to deliver. Would you consider a trade for a Schecter 006 Elite? or would you sell for a more realistic price?

Hah, what you thinking of mate?

the price i came to was based on how much i paid for the guitar, how much i paid to spec up with strap locks, straps, better tuners, and a case and the fact that it plays really well. If you have any offers to make though then i'd be more than happy to consider.

£150 without the case, I'd have a hard time offering any more than that as these Chinese copys generally go for £100-£150

Understandable, but I'm sorry I cant accept. The first is that I dont have another les paul and the case would go to waste, the second is that I paid alot more than that for it and all the parts, and the third is that I'm not convinced that they are of the same make. A lot of the gibson copies on that page have a 2 pin truss cover, as do most gibsons - whereas mine like most older copies has three. This suggests that mine is older and probably not one of them.

Another point is that this also has real grover (kluson style tuners on) which I know because I paid for them, and has gold schaller strap locks and a nice leather strap.

A final point is that the guitar plays very nicely, and to be giving it away for 150 would be daft in my eyes, because I dont think you'd have any chance of finding something else for that money that plays the same way.

I wouldn't say that its like mine. Similar shape - but the horn on mine is more curved like the gibson that its ripping off. plus mine has a figured top, while yours has a standard top with a purple finish.

im not saying that one is better than another, just that they aren't likely to be from the same company. I like yours though. Always had a thing for purple guitars. My mate had a purple nevada les paul and i was very close to buying it off him - even though i knew it was rubbish.
