I was considering getting those Coiled patch cables.

yeah i wanted to get the 30' bullet cable brand but alas....i just randomly found this in best buy and bought the cord...they just look so darn cool.
and i got the muff at guitar center 30 minutes later.
but im still GASing so bad for and Orange Tiny Terror Head and Avatar 4x12

With patch cables, you'll be fine.

Out of the box. Plug it in and shake the cord and you will hear it. I've been through two so far.
When you are playing, its no big deal. When you are between songs, roll down the volume. Problem solved.
I don't care what Fender claims. These cords cut some high end off of your tone. Not that I mind, I actually kind of like it.
