i have a les paul 100 and i got it back from a music shop the otherday after having a maitnence check and the action (string hieght) on it was great. but after a week or so of playing i started to get bad fretbuzz on the 3rd fret on my bottom strings. so i heightend the action and the samething happend, no fret buzz for a day and then it came back HELP!

it looks like the truss rod needs a adjustment.

LEFT LOOSE

RIGHT TIGHT

lossening will "lower" the neck and vise versa

***only do it slightly as this procedure is not intended to cure fret buzz but just shift it slightly and does work in most cases
