Hi, I laid a K Yairi AR332 away. I did not want to risk loosing my full purchase price until I had checked it out. It is a good looking guitar, excellent shape and sounds great. But I can't find anything about this guitar other than it was never sold in the US. Hence it does not have Alvarez on it. The guitar is hand signed K Yairi. I can't seem to find any information. Such as woods used, reviews, current values, etc.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

You might try the Alvarez forum here: http://alvarezguitars.com/messageboard/

I did some searching around and it looks like your guitar would've been built around 1983-1984 and has a spruce top and indian rosewood back and sides. This information may not be correct as I can't really verify the accuracy of the source. Pictures of the guitar would at least allow me to be able to identify the woods used.
