i have a fat strat and installed an alnico II pro in the bridge position but now the neck pickup doesn't have a good tone and im guessing its from installing that humbucker. how can i get the tone back in my neck pickup?

replace the pickup or check your wiring to make that your pickups aren't out of phase.

it means that the one of the pickups polarity is not phase with another polarity.

by the way does it sound weak and thin or just buzzy.

To me it sounds like the wiring was accidentially changed somewhere (maybe you killed a tone capacitor or pot)

Either that or you have grown better ears and expect more from your other pickups

If your neck pickup is single coil, it cannot be out of phase except when combined with another pickup
