Last man standing
And it’s taking a toll
The last one breathing now

Can’t stand waiting
And I’m losing my soul
Now that kill’s what I’m talkin’ about

Give em hell kid
This is hell kid
Give em hell
Gimme somethin’

I
Have lost my frame of
Mind
A murder by surprise
Not my fault
I’m told to walk
But it’s okay I’ll breathe another day

Can’t see nothin’
I’m looking at glass
And it’s miles and miles to go

New clip loaded
I’m kickin’ some ass
But dammit I wanna be home

Give em hell kid
This is hell kid
Give em hell
Gimme somethin’

I
Have lost my frame of
Mind
A murder by surprise
Not my fault
I’m told to walk
But it’s okay I’ll breathe another day

High
The only way to
Survive
When you lead in your eye
All my fault
They said to duck
But it’s okay I’ll breathe another day

(Solo)

Give em hell kid
This is hell kid

I
Have lost my frame of
Mind
A murder by surprise
Not my fault
I’m told to walk
But it’s okay I’ll breathe another day

Don’t wanna breathe another day
Just wanna get back to the Chesapeake

one of the things about many songs that bothers me is the lack of elaboration

In your song I saw lots of words that portrayed a feeling rather than an event or a phenomena. Unless your underlying music is powerful, you will need to describe a phenomena to put your audience into the feeling that you feel. Therefore, elaborate on your feeling. You drop hints like "A murder by surprise", and the last line "Just wanna get back to the chesapeake", but I'm left wondering, what does that mean? What murder? Why do you want to get back to chesapeake?

well the song is about a soldier, cheseapeake bay rhymed so i used it as the soldier's home, and the murder is the killing of an enemy soldier after being ambushed...it's vague but it's a heavy guitar-driven song
