Can you build a good, but cheap Effect pedal for like 20$ tops? With like a bread board and stuff you can get at radio shack?

If its an oscillator or something like that it will cost you something, but really there are some stock pedals that cost around 25$ so their cost of production should be less than 20$ for sure.

Plenty of boosts and fuzzes near your budget, a few random semi-oscilation things. Simple=cheap, hit all the pedal and schematic sites listed in the forum faq. ENclosire and 3pdt switches are the most expensive parts of a pedal build, they will likely account for $15 plus shipping on their own, as you can't usually pick them up at radioshack.

Urgh, I give up. Maybe sometime. For now Ill wait for the day after thanksgiving and get the Fender distort and chorus pedal from target.
