i'm poor and i want a decent wah to dick around with. I want to spice up my blues improv and have something to mess around with when i'm writing solos etc. It doesn't have to sound great, just has to be cheap and do the job.

thanks in advance

What kind of price range are we talking about?

A used Vox V847 would work well for you.

It'd probably be something along the lines of 50-60 used, and about 100 new. I'd advise it against the Dunlop, because frankly, the original crybabies sound like ****.

I like the Crybaby

Really? I absolutely despise every one of them I've played. Including my own. Together they cover a good number eras. 1990, 1994, 2006.

You could find an original crybaby for $30 and then mod it. In the end it should cost around $35 with mods.

A Vox V847 isn't too expensive and is pretty good. It beats the hell out of the Dunlop GCB-95 wah which is a similar price I believe. If only I used a wah a lot then I would probably upgrade too.
