I'm lookin for a delay with a loop options so i can practise soloing etc. I'm thinkin of the DD-7 but i don't know much about delays other than the boss and digitech. What's the hardwire delay like?
Current GEAR:
2014 LTD EC401
1991 Gibson Explorer
Digitech Whammy V
OCD/Timmy Clone
Wampler Triple Wreck Clone
Fuzzhugger AB-synth
Orange Crush 20RT
TC Alter Ego x4
#2
or maybe a cheaper alternative

Ive heard the hardwire delay is substantially better because of the true bypass and i guess this,

Specifically, regarding the Digitech Hardwire DL-8, Digitech support said:

"When the delay is off, it is in true bypass. When the delay is on, the dry signal is completely analog (no AD or DA conversions) and the wet signal is digital. The "Level" knob on the pedal is an analog control of the wet signal."

Some guy is saying this is the reason the pedal sounds better in terms of sound of quality, but as far as features go im not to sure, ive never spent that much time with delays, other than my DD5 and Biyang double chip delay.

The best way, go out and try them.
