Hi again to all UG members. My problem is that I changed my Yamaha Pacifica PAC012 strings for a light strings pack of the brand Alice. The thing is I dont like them, since it was a waste of money and Iam about to change em again and it has not even got a week the strings. I would like to get any recomendations of good strings that works well on a Pacifica. Thx to all

elixir
blue steel

expensive (at least in mexico) but good.

and (im not sure if they sell them in the states, they make them here in mexico) jim wess.
that's good, cheap and last a lot-

EDIT: expensive is not a brand i meant "they are expensive". not that i think you are stupid but if someone posts that i would search the "expensive brand" hahaha

Honestly try cheap and expensive brands, you'll end up finding something you like because it's really preference, you might like really expensive ones or you might settle for how a 5$ pack of strings feels. It is preference so unless you have a show I suggest you try different packs over the next month or two.

i meant that jimmy wess is made in mexico.

im using elixir right now. the bring a really bright tone, if that is what you are aiming for.

jimmy wess are good for high gain songs, and blue steel (at least with me) brought me a good high/warm tone.

I have experience with D-Addario and I am very happy with those. I would go with those or Elixir, personally.

have you even broken them in yet?

do you think you want a heavier gauge?

Jenny needs to sow her wild oats with random Gibsons and Taylors she picks up in bars before she settles down with a PRS.
