If I were you I'd just use the gain from the amp.
Screamer series has a fair amount of gain on itself.

Try boosting the low gain until you get what you want, should easily go into smooth blues overdrive .

Engl amps are some of the highest quality amps you can buy.

What's the deal with people buying amps that are expensive as s*** and wanting to use a Dist or OD pedal? Use the amps tone. It's always your best bet.

ok, don't you NEED an erection before penetration?? lol. anyways, condoms do occasionally break, and you CAN get her pregnant but you probably didn't. but make her go get the morning after pill. or fall down stairs. or something.

it should more or less do what you want without pedals. try it first, though, and if you're planning to use pedals, try the pedals with the screamer, engls can be picky about pedals...
I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

i agree with you i was just saying that if i got the fender i might need a heavier distortion to play some of the heavier things. but i know i wont need any sort of distortion/overdrive for the engl.
