Hi, I got an electro-acoustic and was wondering when the batteries are used?

I'm guessing only when I use the tuner function and when its plugged in, but do they also get used up when im not using the tuner or having it plugged in? This is so I know if i need to take out the batteries if I'm not using it for a while or performing with it.

Thanks !

Generally, the batteries drain the onboard electronics when you have it plugged in or when you're using the tuner. Honestly though... just leave it plugged in. Batteries are cheap and onboard electronics these days usually last at least 200 hours or more(which is a pretty long time). Just keep a spare battery in your case to deal with any battery failure.
