I got a tube amp, 30 watts and I want that Led Zeppelin tone, Which will help me More, the Digitech screamin blues or Bad Monkey. Or other?
none, turn the amp up full so the tubes are hot n that will do it, dont be gay with the gain, page's tone is almost clean

Once again...it's the NME, they're notorious for being dumbasses. I know that, and I live in Texas for Christ's sake!

"If you think you've got it, shove it out, run it up the flagpole, and see who salutes it."
What amp?

I'd say Bad Monkey would be better.

Yeh the SICK! bit sounds a bit stupid.

What amp is it?
I like analogue Solid State amps that make no effort to be "tube-like", and I'm proud of it...

...A little too proud, to be honest.
an OD like a bad monkey or blues driver is not going to help get Page's tone, you just need lots of volume, as in turn your amp's volume all the way, get the power stage cooking and turn up the mids and treble. Don't turn the preamp gain up more than 4 or 5 at most.

edit: unless you're looking for early Page tone, then a good fuzz is what you need.
