tube-for jamming/gigging
little 5w tubes - for practicing at home, mostly for cleans and classic rock overdrive, not so much metal.
SS - for practicing a home and jamming with guitar buddies. If you choose to get solid state, don't get more than 30w as even 120w SS amps sound bad when up to "jamming with a drummer" levels.
