on the album, band of gypsies, track 1: who knows,
Jimi suddenly stops playing and singing, and billy cox (i think) starts singing the guitar part, then statrs improvising a solo, with his voice! it sounds cool, but i just wonder where jimi was at that moment. (it was recorded live)

does anyone know?

Who Knows? pun intended.

The drummer, Buddy Miles, is the one who is "singing". I've read that Hendrix didn't really care for Buddy's vocal improv all that much.

John Entwistle once in a while. I had to try to find him when I saw The Who two years ago.
