Hey guys,

I've been meaning to get my amp biased for a while now (not had the time no how or money to do so till recently) and while locating the trim pot I couldn't help but notice some brown marks around the points where the tubes connect to the circuit board. I'm concerned as it looks like it's burned a little.

Here are some pics (appologies for poor quality, all I have is my phone):

Is this normal? Or is something not right? I'm concidering having it serviced for good measure.

Thanks all.

Ah you're very right sir!
Shows how log it's been since I've held a soldering iron.

I think I'll still get it serviced though, it's due one. Can't seem to get rid of a constant firey crackling sound... im sure it's a biasing issue, but I can't afford the tools to do it myself.
