so i was pretty bored and took apart my mxr gt-od just to see the board, and i noticed a black 2 way switch on the inside of the pedal, i was just wondering if anyone knew what that switch did?

i would say it probably is something to do with QA, maybe to set a bias or something that cant be adjusted with the standard circuit, i would flip it while you're playing and see what happens, i doubt it will hurt it

if you can get your hands on a schematic (try from mxr directly) then it'd be easy to identify this mystery switch

Any way you could post a picture of the insides of your GT-OD? Or, if that's not possible, could you at least tell me what IC chip they use? There is so little info out there about these pedals.

Thanks.
