Not exactly sure what forum to put this in..

Does anyone know if there is a double tracking option on audacity? Like having the program automatically make a duplicate, like Cubase or something?

I don't believe that there is, as Audacity isn't about 'arming' tracks, it's an automatic process.

Either you could record a stereo track, then split it, or just duplicate a track once it's recorded.

Well I usually just duplicate it manually by dubbing, but for a specific part of the song it has to be perfect, which sucks. My cubase doesn't work..and the company absolutley awful customer service. Are there any other free recording softwares that have the feature?

Yeah but the new track and old one should have a really small delay between them to pan it properly, otherwise it just stays centered.
I generally generate a silence of about 0.00045 seconds in one of the tracks.
