Anyone know where I can find free isolated drum tracks? (Mainly metal)

Get riffworks.

You can record on that, and buy drum loops from the Wireworks store.

i downloaded a lot from bt junkie and deamonoid, but they were all rock or funk. the aerosmith drummer did good ones.

If you are fine with midi tracks look up a tab for the songs you want here and download the guitar pro version (if you have guitar pro) and look at the midi drums.
You can torrent Guitar pro, but, I'm not sure if every track you download will have the drum part, Also they will be ****ty midi drums but better than nothing.

1. Get guitar pro
2. Download the tab
3. Export the MIDI
4. Get Reaper or an other DAW
5. Get EZ Drummer and Drumkit From Hell
6. Make a new track with EZ Drummer
7. Change the drumkit to Drumkit from Hell
8. Import the MIDI and delete all tracks but the drums
9. Get the levels set properly
10. Export the MP3

Or you could just use the Guitar Pro MIDI drums, but it will sound like crap.
