im going to make not one but 2 guitars


Guitar number 1:
Les Paul shape
24 3/4" scale
mahogany body
gold maple top
chrome hardware
mahogany neck with rosewood fretboard(22 frets)
t-o-m bridge, with stop bar tail piece
golden age humbuckers(exposed coil, zebra)

guitar number 2:
Les Paul Shape
24 3/4" scale
mahogany body
flamed maple top
maple neck with ebony fretboard(again 22 frets)
t-o-m bridge with
A:stop bar
B:bigsby
DiMarzo dp156 Humbucker from hell(neck,Cream)
DiMarzo dp215 Evo 2 bridge pickup(Cream)
DiMarzo dp100 Super Distortion Pickup(Middle,Cream)
or should i go with all super distortion?

tips would be greatly appreciated

Anyway, you don't want to have to guitars exact the same, so put a bigsby on the second one, those 3 humbuckers are better than just getting 3 of the one type, you will get more tonal options. If you are planning on using dimarzio use there pickup finder on there web page

On the 2nd guitar, is there going to be a burst of somesort and what colour hardware you going with?

oh wow i didn't notice that i didn't put the finish on the 2nd one
im going to try to make it a cherry burst, im not sure what color im going to use for the hardware

chrome pickup covers, black pickup rings, black knobs, black pickguard (if one), black bigsby
or
Gold pickup covers, cream rings, cream pickguard, gold knobs, gold bigsby.

or something completly different

no pick guard, or pup covers, but i think i will go with the gold hardwear and cream rings

Why would you wanna build two Les Pauls?
Build one , and make an Explorer , a Rhandy Rhods Fyling V or something , building the same thing twice looses it's value in your eyes.
