I know its some sort of traditional British piece that is played for important occasions but i really can't remember what it is. We learned about it ages ago in music. Heres what i remember of it (think its right).

e|------------------|------------------|------------------------||
b|------------------|------------------|------------------------||
g|------------------|-----0-----------|-4----------------------||
d|-----7-----------|---7--------------|----5----0-------------||
a|---7-------------|-0----------------|----------------0-------||
e|-5---------------|------------------|-------------------------||

Can anyone remind me? Its not actually played on guitar its with trumpets or maybe a full orchestra. Can't remember exactly.

EDIT:

Answer found.
Its a Fanfare for the common man.

For some reason, when I play it I think of astronauts.
Gear.

Ibanez Iceman IC400.

And Daron Malakians custom triangle pick.

Thats all you need to know.

No worries

And it was actually written by an American.

And then Emerson Lake and Palmer made a famous version of it.

O RLY??

Great song anyway. I was just messing about on guitar and i played it, and knew it was from somewhere.

Sounds pretty good distorted. Has potential to be rocked up.

And yeh it does make me think of walking on space.
