There is a Randall amp head you slot them into.
So you can have your personal favourite amplifier circuits (clean, od1, od2 for example) so you can get all your favourite sounds in one amplifier head.

Aha, that's awesome!

The RM100 shows as having modules in it. I assume there is a cheaper option without the modules in?

None of them come with modules unless it's stated that it is. Like this

That's the 50 watt one, and comes with two modules, because that's all it takes. However, you can buy the heads without modules like this.

Then you have to buy the modules
