OK, I have a Guild S-100 Polara, 1968, that my dad gave me. It has a DeMarzio lead pickup in the bridge, added by a friend of my dads. When I switch to the lead pickup, the guitar makes a buzz. When you turn the distortion on, it gets loud. Real loud. My dad says it's an open ground, but I can't find anything wrong with the wiring. I'm no pro, but it all seems in order. He also claims it wasn't buzzing when the pickup was first added, but after he got it back from a friends it did. So, does anyone know how I might fix this? I absolutely love the guitar, but until I fix this, I can't record or gig with it. Ask whatever you need, I'll check and answer regularly.

I think you need to stop caring what people think about it. I stayed home all day today and masturbated like 5 times. Fucking blast.
