im trying to learn thunderhorse by dethklok at the moment and the tuneing is confusing me. i have a Korg chromatic tuner, but it doesnt pick up the notes im looking for, eather that or im being dumb, both equaly as likely.

but im trying to tune to:
C
G
D#
A#
F
C
and it doesnt pick up D# and A#

can anyone explane this please??

Yea I can explane it mate, your tuner isn't set to the right setting. Read the manual and figure out which setting lets you tune to those notes. Bye.

yeah im realy crap with theory but i figured it would be Eb and Bb. just wasnt to sure

Some tuners show flats instead of sharps.

is it the korg ge 30, silver one? ya, it kinda sucks, only to standerd and flats

My answer was fine and it wasnt mean. Some tuners need to change settings to get notes other than the standard ones? Cool off a bit bro

na its the CA-30 the black one and yeah it showed them as flats not sharps, guitar tuned perfectly now, sounding good. thanks for the help
