Which one do you guys prefer? For those of you who (idiots) don't know what a coupe or convertible is, I'll post example pictures. I prefer coupes. Or as British people say, coupaaayy.

Dude I got these strings the other day that couldn't be tuned to higher than 4 octaves below middle C then I realized that they were shoelaces and they weren't making any sound at all.

Convertibles are pretty lame. But then, cars in general are lame compared to motorcycles.

Still, coupe>convertible always.

Coupes are horribly lame, get a convertible, or better yet a motorcycle.

Close enough,
the cadi's a '59 & the Stangs a '72

I want both! my old man used to have a '63 Pontiac (not the one below, it was in better condition than that, but its the only '63 4-door pic I could find on photobucket!)

I was going to get it too! Until we moved to the coast & dad gave it to his cousin so it didn't rust out (the paint was a little rough & it needed to be rust-proofed)

Coupes are lighter than their convertible equivalent 99% of the time.

I'm baffled to learn that Americans don't use the correct pronunciation of 'coupay'. How do you say it then?

Edit : NVM, like 'coop'.

The Caddy is a '59. not sure if Eldo or Coupe de Ville. I'll guess deVille.

Mustang is 71 ~ 73. absence of the additional lamps on the grille says 71.

close enough for that cookie?

ON TOPIC.

Ragtops are ace, in nice weather. But for year round, they suck ass.

And coupes / hardtops are just plain quieter.
