Ok, im making a stringthru guitar, theres a topic in the customization place, and im using a tune-o-matic bridge, like so- https://www.carvinguitars.com/products/single.php?product=TMMB, and im wondering, how exactly do i put the studs in the wood? drill holes their size and glue them in? or how exactly do i go about that?
I would just glue them in like you said
Would that work? Would i use like locktite or gorilla glue? and would i finish the guitar before glueing them in?
You would want to make the holes slightly smaller than the studs. Than tap them in with a non-marring hammer. That's why they have those ridges on the outside. To help bite into the wood.
