I once saw somebody carry a Guitar Hero controller in a case to protect it. He probably should have packed his testicles in there too, seeing as he won't need to use those for quite a while.

Can only buy used, guys. Thanks.

That fat strat looks might taste, i'll look into it.

Btw, has anyone played with the fender roland ready strats? They seem like something fun to play with.

EDIT: I meant "Can only buy NEW"

If you get your hands on a bit more cash, or try and find one used, I'd suggest a Fender Highway One HSS Strat.

Am I the only one to say a Classic 50's Strat?

o.O

Being a strat guy and owning an American, I find americans to be overrated. You're better off playing mexican strats until you find one that clicks. Easier on the wallet.

Anyway, Classic Player 60s, and Classic 50s Strats are very good models. Best ones to come out of Mexico, and give my American a run for it's money.

EDIT: OH YES, AND.

Deluxe Players Strat. you will not be sorry.

Deluxe Players Strat is about that price and one of the most versatile too. Its pups blow most other guitars around $600 out of the water. Look it up.
The world doesn't revolve around you. If it does, beware. You're probably about to pass out drunk.

What kind of retarded school do you go to???

Anyone can see you get way better gear at the same price if you go used.

Why not a Floyd-Rose equipped one? They come in HSS, and are only $500. Can't remember the damn name, though...

Most schools are the same, my school had a choice (on amps) of a Line 6 Spider, Marshall MG, Roland cube or Vox AD15. But for the guitar whty went an Epi Les Paul which ain't TOO bad, anyway, the point being, schools can only go through dealers that are certified and junk.

Now, a strat for that price, deifnately MIM, highway one at a maybe, the delux players or the roadhouse strat are the best lookin' for the money, maybe try the lonestar or the classic players HSS equivalent for versatility.

make sure you play all of these before buying anyone of them. The neck radius alone ranges from 7.25" to 12". I personnaly like the vintage 7.25". My PRS has 12", and I find that I struggle when it comes to chording. However, playing leads or certain riffs feels better on the 12". my 2 cents.
It's so crazy in here you're gonna wish it wasn't so crazy in here!
