When recording, our drummer usually says he cant hear whats going on in his headphones...he does play pretty loudly...but what drummer doesnt. I was just wondering what type of headphones he should be using for recording.

Google a company called "more Me." They ship. Their phones are about $20/pr, and they are loud as bombs. They're closed backed, too, so bleed back from them and into the mics is not an issue.

They don't sound awesome, but they're usable. You don't need awesome sound for tracking, though.

Could I get some more talent in the monitors, please?

I know it sounds crazy, but try to learn to inhale your voice. www.thebelcantotechnique.com
