I just went to Guitar Center with my friend and played on some sweet shecters and stuff and then I was gonna buy some new strings and picks, and the dude at the counter showed me a box of 8 packs of D'Addario strings for ONLY $20!!!! So I was like wow this is an awesome deal and bought it instantly with some Brain picks.

So if any of you guys need new strings and don't have enough money for those ridiculous "high end" strings check out the D'Addarios

That's odd usually D' Addarios are quite expensive, the same price as Ernie Balls maybe he made a mistake oh well, they are the only strings I use they rock!

Well it's good to see that people think highly of d'addarios because I was skeptical at first why they were so cheap, but now I know I got some quality strings

I send my mum in to get string replacements... last time, she came back with ONE pack of D'addarios and it cost $20. The guy behind the counter probably realized this woman knew nothing about guitars so figured he could pocket $15. What an ass.
The below is false.
The above is true.

People who don't replace their strings after a mont of playing are dirty, dirty people.

Or they don't have stupid amounts of sweat on their hands. I can easy go 4 months without changing.

I keep my house at like 68 degrees and only play for about 30-60 minutes when I do finally get a chance to play.. Also my hands dont sweet even when I was playing more my strings would last forever.. Also there is such a thing as cleaning your strings....

I hate new strings.

The tonal differences aren't that big for me to even bother changing strings at least every month. My hands don't sweat excessively when I'm playing and I never break strings, I've never in any instance had a string rust, no matter how old it was.

New strings go out of tune very easily and need stretching to overcome this, not to mention they feel stiff until they've been played on for a while.

To bright and there to up and down, I also tend to think my guitar or amp is jacked up when I change them out becuase I forget how much they change the tone.

Harsh much Mr Tee?

Personally I like the feel of new strings, brightness is a bit of an issue but time takes care of that, usually a couple days and they tame down.
I wondered why the frisbee was getting bigger, then it hit me.

I change mine every two months. They survive nicely. I like the feel of new strings too, but it wears off after a day or two no matter what.

Hey! I went almost 13 months without changing my low E string, must have gone through 10 high E strings though, little buggers always snap on me.
