Ok. I just bought a guitar online (oh surprise surprise...!) and the seller has two versions available.

Both are sexy as hell... I just can't decide! Maybe your votes can help me!

i agree, in the wine red pic the humbucker pup housing looks crooked as well, could be the angle though.

Ive hunted them down, made by carlson, supposedly made in USA, sell on ebay for $150 (not these specifically, but a tele of the brands)

i do not accuse with no backing...

either way its a nice body, so if thats what ya want, go for it

just if you wanted a great playing guitar, i would be wary is all.

Nice looking guitars I prefer the quilted grain myself. The only thing I don't care for is the single coil pups I would rather have two Humbuckers.

I never heard of Carlson so I did a search, they do claim they are made in the US according to their website.

www.carlsonguitars.com

You'll have to post a review on them after you get it. I am always interested to hear about a new guitar company.

there made in Korea, put together in US

its a loop hole that guitar sellers can use. ie. if i get a Chinese piece of crap, take it appart and put back together, i can say its made in the US.

**ALL guitars are built in our 2 locations in the Portland Oregon region.

ok, maybe it is American..

still have my doubts though, the prices seem to be.. low

I think the guitars that come out of Korea are well made. Most guitars made there all come from the same place in Unsung, Korea. They make all the guitars for the big brand names. I read somewhere they make more guitars than all the other companies combined. I guess that was before the Chinese started making guitars.

I guess you can claim it's built here in the US if you get the parts from there and assemble it here. Hey they do it with cars!

I wish you luck I have taken chances on off brands and so far I have been happy with my purchases.
#23
decent price!!

on there site it says that they used to be dodgy, but have bought all this machinery, thus now made in America, and prices will go up on 2008 models.

from the looks of it, even if it plays ****, stick it on the wall, the bodys are quite pleasing to the eyes

You know when Ibanez first started being sold in the US people thought they were crap and look at them now.

The Floyd has "Licensed under Floyd Rose patents" engraved on it so I guess it's LFR.

They say it's an Official Floyd Rose in order for you to be led into thinking that it's an OFR (Original Floyd Rose), when it's just another LFR. And at $150... It'll probably suck. Seriously, why are you even buying this guitar?

This model is selling at 250~400 on E'vul'BAY. MSRP is at $599.99 so it's about right priced.
I want to take my chances on this one. Might turn out good, who knows.
