well basically i have around £70 to spend on a high gain wah pedal

im thinking of the morley power wah?

or is it worth spending a little more for a morley steve vai 1(or 2)

i didnt like the steve vai morley, i wanted a more classic wah, so i got the morley classic wah, takes gain very well, i use it with my metal muff

I do not suggest the Weeping Demon. Look into the following if you want to put your money to good use:

- Dunlop 535Q
- Morley Tremonti wah
- Morley Bad Horsie II

this. Also the classic wah does NOT take gain well. There's absolutely no sweep, just "w" mode and "ah" mode

He means instead of going Wwwwaaaaaahhh on the sweep sound, you get W-ah-w-ah, basically no vocal quality to the wah.

take a look at the dimbag signature wah, the gain boost on it is simply lush

I have the Dimebag signature wah, and it has served me well so far.

There is also the RMC stuff, but that's probably too expensive.

Morley Steve Vai Bad Horsie 2. You can vary the gain it puts out to drive your amp even harder. It makes me sound a whole lot better than I really am.
