so our bassist has been caught up with a few things latelyand couldnt make it to a few practices.

we tried practicing without him
and the first time was an epic phail

second time wasnt too bad but meh

we are having another practice he cant attend .

is there anywhere i can download bass tracks for songs like crazy train etc*

so i can run it thru the PA and we can play as if there was a bass maybe?

lol what's a bass lo.lololoololololo?!?!?!

/stupidity

I don't think so, sorry.

EDIT: You could use a guitar pro file, mute all but the bass, turn up the volume on your computer's speakers, and put a mic up to it. Best way I can think of.

I agree with the Guitar pro idea, I'm a bassist & I just mute the bass on them when I'm practicing!

Dude I got these strings the other day that couldn't be tuned to higher than 4 octaves below middle C then I realized that they were shoelaces and they weren't making any sound at all.

this. i would get a 1/8 cable and run it into a spare amp. its what my drummer used for a metronome. its loud and gets the job done.
