Ok, so I already have one Bad Monkey, and I really like it and everything, but I was wondering if any of you had ever used two hooked up in series. I know SRV used to use two tubescreamers, so two Bad Monkeys would pretty much be the same, right?

Yeah it's pretty cool. I remember at this guitar store one time they had a couple of these overdrive pedals which I don't remember the name or brand of, but they were cheap and some guy hooked like 10 of them up in a row. Pretty cool.

I'm starting to think along those lines also. I think i'd also add a separate EQ for each.

it will work if you eq it right. though, if i recall, SRV used 1 tubescreamer or the other, he had them on different settings and switched back and forth for lead/rhythm

the problem you'll get is noise, you're basically putting a length of wire in between gain stages, so all sorts of noise gets an opportunity to leak in and be further amplified by the second pedal...
