my pickup in my razorback died so im getting a new one
i didnt wanna go over board so i was thinking of getting a dime bucker but the guy recomended that i should get a seymour duncan alternate 8
apparently they have more output than a dime bucker and are suposed to tear your head off but dont lose the tone and dont get that fuzzyness with super high gain

are they any good?
what else would you recomend

contact Pott (UGr). He has one and likes it a lot. I almost got one based on his assessment. Lots of high gain grit that cleans up very well.

Also, I would suggest calling Duncan's customer service number listed on their web site and talk it thru with them. They are great and will often exchange it for something else if you end up not liking it.

v Good point forsaknazrael.
