I'm looking for a 2x12 cabinet and am extremely short on money. I'm looking for around $100-$250. I know I won't be able to get an amazing quality cabinet for the price, but I'm looking for something bearable. I was looking at this

http://www.zzounds.com/item--CRAV212B

Is that tolerable enough? I honestly have no idea.
Once again, I know I'm not going to get epic tone but I'm looking for something to last for a while until I can get enough money to buy an avatar 2x12 or an orange cab or something else with celestions. Any suggestions would be great.

I've been checking used sites constantly, almost daily for new postings but haven't seen any vaders, or anything really that was around my budget, I guess I'll keep looking though :\

I was looking at avatars, but a 2x12 was around 300 if i remember correctly, plus shipping, so It's out of the budget for now.

I hate a Crate stack and the cabinets sound great, excellent bass response
I say go for it

Really? Then maybe I'll just buy the crate cabinet. Anyone else have experience with the crate cabinet?

I would probably say to keep saving your money for a bit longer and buy something made in the USA, Canada or Europe. It would probably have better build quality, be more reliable, have aftermarket speakers, look nicer and bragging rights Non China > China.

just my opinion.

And you're right

Gibson>Moog>KJL>Homebrew 2x12

Saving 4 any one of these:
Soldano Hot Rod
Splawn (anything)
Laney GH50L
Cornford Roadhouse
Marshall JCM2000
KJL 4x12 to match KJL head

The crate should be fine for now.
I'm putting my GAS on hold
for a couple months in order to pimp my ride.

Don't judge me.

It's good enough until you can afford something else. I would recommend trying to look used a bit more, I've seen some great deals on cabs come up every few weeks. My friend almost got this Marshall 1960A for $150. He actually saw it and it worked but he decided he just wanted to keep his combo and not lug the cab around.

Did you guys realize that this thread is from over 2 months ago!?

Woah! I didn't but my suggestion still stands if he's still looking for a cab.
