I recently had a dream that my dad died and my mum spent the life insurance payout on a new Indian dad, who told me to convert to Judaism, even though people usually change religion in September.

The Bible is awesome. Revelation is so badass, I mean, dragons and angels and the devil having an epic battle in the clouds? Badass.

Mars Volta

i've just ordered that, everything i've heard from them is amazing so i'll take your word for it.

for me it has to be Dark Side of the Moon and then Led Zeppelin II

Appetite For Destruction is possibly the most overrated album of all time.

I could try to pick my favorite albums which I enjoy equally, but I would probably end up posting about ten albums haha. I don't think there is one album that is better then all other albums in every way so there really is no greatest album or band or song of all time.

you won't be disappointed.

It's hard to pick one seeing as there are so many great albums from so many different genres that are impossible to compare. But, for the sake of the thread (and for whoever may ask me in the future) I'm going to pick In A Silent Way by Miles Davis. My reasons being:

1. Obviously, I enjoy it immensly
2. It is completely original, and there is nothing that sounds like it before or since (maybe Bitches Brew, but that's really stretching it)
3. It's influence has been felt in many different and diverse genres including rock, jazz, electronic, and ambient.

I like DLITC better because it has less ambient sections which, to me, aren't very interesting.

Massive Attack - Blue Lines
Brant Bjork and the Operators
Kyuss - Welcome to Sky Valley
Death From Above 1979 - You're a Woman, I'm a Machine
Daft Punk - Homework
Fugees - The Score

Just off the top of my head.

Radiohead- OK Computer

Simply perfect.
I'm not singing for the future, I'm not dreaming of the past, I'm not talking of the first times, I never think about the last.

Out Of Exile has always been my favourite. Metallica isn't a bad shout either.
