Im Thinking about a new amp, currently i have vox ad30, which i love, but im starting to gig some more, and i play my schools jazz band. So i want something that i can probably store at school and use it for jazz band practice and when im just playing at school, also for other occasional gigs and keep my vox for home practice. But in the realms of jazz and clean tones i really dont know what kinda of amp i want. I want a range of crystal clean jazz tone, to crunchy funk-ish type, to some nice blues tone. And for heavier stuff i will just use a pedal.. so any suggestions?

edit:
ohh yeah
my price range is probably 500$

AD50-VT?
Yeah I love VOX amps.

That was my first thought... If you like your Vox, just go out and try a bigger one. Or, try to find a used vox AC30... (if youre very lucky)...

If the gainiestt hing your playing is some hard blues, the Crate v series should suffice

A used classic 50 off craigslist should have the headroom you need for jazzy cleans. They go for $400 ish, or a HRD, while not optimal for metal, it does everything else you would want, it goes for $400-450.
Oops, HRD, $380 - http://oklahomacity.craigslist.org/msg/932398783.html
This Crate V3212 would also probably hit the spot, great amp IMO. http://oklahomacity.craigslist.org/msg/924981187.html
But depending on where in Oklahoma, there are a few craiglsist sites for your state.

Oh, found this too, old KMD 60 watt tube amp. Cheap as all heck, beat up so it has amp "mojo", but for leaving at school? May be what you want so you don't worry if something happens to it. http://oklahomacity.craigslist.org/msg/904622581.html
I wondered why the frisbee was getting bigger, then it hit me.

Ardie, they excel at the classic rock tone. Check out the BBe green screamer for a od. It's on sale right now at GC for $50.
