Ok, I'm doing a sort of expirement/project, about how a song, (metal) is built up, or the foundations set on the bass and drums, and I need a really good example where it is obvious that the bass and drums is providing the foundations. Yes, I know that all songs do, but I need a good example.

Errm... Peace Sells by Megadeth?

I don't kow, I'm not sure I understand what you mean.

I mean like songs where it is obvious that the bass and drums are there, playing and providing the tight rythm for the guitarists to **** up- I mean lead over.

The first thing that came to my mind was

Iron Maiden- Wrathchild.
The bass+drums provide a solid platform while the guitars basically widdle around for two and a half minutes.

Losfer Words is a good example as well.

What about some Pendulum? It's Drum & Bass after all and it sounds pretty cool...
