Ok, a friend of mine just bought her first guitar and amp. Got a reasonable guitar but a pretty cheap amp, some 15w cheapo cant remember the brand, its nothing good.
Anyway, she wants to play metal and the overdrive channel on her amp is HORRIBLE!

Can anyone suggest a cheap pedal that would help, I have no experience with pedals as my Marshall has great overdrive.

Im talkin cheap here, less than $100USD

Cheers

^Please, don't do it. If you can't find a used Metal Muff, get a Digitech Death Metal.

Metal Muff.

Also, your amp's overdrive sucks, if it's the Marshall in your profile.
