Hi, I'm new here and I'm planning to buy a new guitar, since my current one is some rubbish beginner's guitar which came in a pack with amp, strap, etc.

However I have no idea how to judge guitars at all. I don't really want to much over £250, and I prefer playing lead rather than rhythm. The type of music I play the most is classic rock, such as The Rolling Stones, Queen and The Who. I also prefer the shape of Fenders to the shape of Les Pauls.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Fender Standard Strat/Tele?
Decent guitars for their price range (£300ish) but i reckon you could get one cheaper if you shopped around a bit/barter in your local shop.

Why listen to it? That song is for emos, homos, and girls.

And Def Leppard aren't cool. Hell, rabies and Robert Mugabe are cooler.

I have never heard of Black Knight, but guitars are like everything else in this world, you get what you pay for.

I second the Tele recommendation.
