I recently bought JCM800 2205 top from 83 and it's in need of new tubes. Im not sure what kinda tubes i should be looking at, does diffrent tubes sound _alot_ diffrent ?

Is it hard to change the tubes myself ? Or should i let my local guitarshop do it for me ?

Thanks

You should let your local guitar shop (NOTE: don't go through GC, find a local mom and pop store, they have better techs.) change the tubes the first time around, but have them let you watch them, and get the information you need. If you did it yourself, you might screw up the bias, which causes problems.
