i'm just wondering

cause i just wasn't sure.

will bass guitar straps work alright on regular guitar straps?

reason i'm asking is cause they seem to be longer, and i've been wanting a longer guitar strap for awhile.

bass straps are generally stronger than guitar straps, so if you don't mind it being a bit more sturdy it should work fine. i think this is a pretty obvious answer though...

Yes, they do, often. Lol.

Look up some of the genuine leather straps on MF, not the ones i'm buying personally, but they're up there.

Just go to a GC, grab the nearest guitar, and grab a strap that looks good.

Chance's are, it'll be long enough for you.

I have a Planet Wave's rasta strap that'll drop my guitar to my knees, and I'm 6'2".

But you'd think if you were going to dish out $100 bucks on a strap you'd know at least a little bit about what you're buying. Plus you wouldn't tell people that you hope they'd be raped by a monkey...

"SMLF," i like that abbreviation. Most people just call me Slappy :-P

Of course I'd know about what I was buying, but I wouldn't ask here, if anything I'd call the strap maker.

I tend to abbreviate names like that, your name is just very odd and I didn't know how many letters I needed

That one was in case you wanted to sig it.

Anyway, I love my F-30, but I can't get my PS45 pedalboard to work right with it in the effects loop, so I haven't been able to mess around with all of my gear. I downloaded a manual to help me out and I'm gonna mess around with it tomorrow morning.

check out the dimarzio clip lock straps if you need length. they were actually TOO LONG for me so I gave it to a friend. Might work out for you, and come in a couple of different colors.

http://accessories.musiciansfriend.com/product/DiMarzio-Cliplok-2Inch-Strap?sku=364661

just checked dimarzio's site, they go from 43 inches to 63, so you're covered. a friend of mine is a 6'5 o-line tackle who uses these. couldn't you have asked for a long strap in the first place?

peace!
