Rocky Horror Picture Show-The Time Warp...

everyone knows that one

EDIT: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zdu7xoHU9DA
Her friends are gazing on her,
And on her gaudy bier,
And weep!-oh! to dishonor
Dead beauty with a tear!
They loved her for her wealth-
And they hated her for her pride-
But she grew in feeble health,
And they love her-that she died.

I love Phantom, I saw it on Broadway twice, but I didn't really like the movie
They credited us with the birth of that sort of heavy metal thing. Well, if that's the case, there should be an immediate abortion.

Haven't seen the movie. Just took the first link on youtube I found and it was from the movie. I have to see it though as I really liked the musical.

Not a rick-roll, I swear. But you have to see it, because if I tell you, you won't click on it anyways. I, personally, love it, simply because of how cheesy it is.

Also, HUGE CRUSH on the main character (the guy)

I love metal but death metal's just a bit too much for me. The most I can get into is serious-illness metal.

"Touch Me" from Spring Awakening. It's a guilty pleasure of mine.

Well I don't know about solos but how about that Smoke on the Water riff. It's like...impossible.

"Seize the Day" from Newsies.

It's just so damn catchy.

good call. I taught middle school music briefly, and we showed this to 7th graders as part of the curriculum, and a lot of times they'd request to watch it again before they left the school (after 8th grade).

I also like King of New York from that movie.

being an admitted marching band geek, I like Blast the show. it was briefly on Broadway and I believe is still a touring show.
this clip is a good taste of it

this one isn't part of the clip, but it's one of my favorites from the show. seems like it's so fun to perform (Officer Krupke from West Side Story)

Comfortably Numb off The Wall is ok... that's probably my favorite musical (LOL)!

HAIR

Best musical ever imo. All the songs are killer, listen to "Flesh Failures/ Let the Sunshine," but don't watch the movie, it is pretty bad.

My favorites:

Rocky Horror
Hedwig and the Angry Inch
Cats
Shock Treatment
Phantom of the Paradise

I cannot stand musicals mostly for the songs from musicals. Though, I guess "if i were a rich man" from Fiddler on the Roof is tolerable enough.

I agree, and I love Hair if it's done well, seriously it's totally not like Broadway/ Andrew Lloyd Webber crap, although you have to like 60's hippie mythos to enjoy the play and music.

Rocky Horror - never get tired of it.
my favourite musical
"Theres a Light Over at The Frankenstein Place"
"Our Lives Dictated By Tradition, Superstition, False Religion"

Discman is my Personal Superhero!

Cabaret.
The West End version is edgier and cheekier than the Broadway one (from the clips I've seen of the Broadway musical)

It also features nudity. Plenty of nudity. Haha. Julian Clary as the Emcee was fabulous too. I'd love to see it again.

My favourite song from the movie, Liza Minelli is a babe
