I'm basically stranded at a relative's house with nothing but a guitar and a computer, basically nothing else to do. I don't feel like mindlessly searching for things on the net, and Craigslist just demoralizes me.

I asked a friend of mine to give me a list of songs to work on and learn for the week, but he's been swamped and couldn't email it to me. This is where you come in, Pit. I need you to give me any song suggestions within reason. You can look at my profile, or, just give me anything without any relation to emo or hardcore. Jazz, surf, rockabilly, psychobilly (preferably those), to hard rock, classic rock, (some) metal, country, etc. Whatever you fancy Pit.

Let's see what you can do!

EDIT:

And Happy Thanksgiving if you celebrate it!

Second Solution by The Living End. It's Rockabilly-Punk with Jazz Influences and 100% awesome.

Oh, that hurts.

I've done the whole Dick Dale schtick before, but Johnny Cash is a good idea. I've been meaning to learn Folsom.

I love Foxy Shazam more than you.

Well right now I've printed out Second Solution and Folsom Prison Blues. Thanks a bunch to both who suggested those (big fans of both artists), any others? Those two should last me a few hours, at least until tomorrow to get them down.

Which Wes Montgomery songs did you have in mind? I've meant to get into the man, but I haven't gotten around to it.

Do u have an acoustic or electric with you?

I have a solid-body electric with no amp, which is actually kind of nice. No amp to lug in an out of the truck (effects included), and I don't have to worry about something smashing the **** out of my acoustic or hollowbody.

I have:
Acoustic B200H+B115 cab, Schecter Stiletto Custom 4, Rondo Fretless, Boss EQ-7.

Some men just want to watch the world burn. And they work at Behringer.
